Class of 2025 wing Jasmyn Cooper announced her commitment to Syracuse on social media Sunday. Ranked No. 54 on ESPN’s ranking, Cooper becomes the highest-ranked recruit to commit to SU out of high school since Felisha Legette-Jack took over as head coach in 2022.

Cooper is the highest-ranked recruit to commit to the Orange since former head coach Quentin Hillsman brought in No. 5- and No. 9-ranked Kamilla Cardoso and Priscilla Williams from the Class of 2020. Alyssa Latham — the No. 72 Class of 2023 recruit who transferred to Tennessee following the 2023-24 season — had previously been Legette-Jack’s highest-ranked commit, while No. 85 Class of 2024 commit Keira Scott was the head coach’s only other top-100 commit.

A Dedham, Massachusetts, native, Cooper is a Noble & Greenough School rising senior. She is a 6-foot-1 forward who also plays club basketball for the MCW Starz, which was co-founded by former SU men’s basketball player Michael Carter-Williams.
