HPM 200: Introduction to Culinary Arts
This selected topics class offers the basics in food preparation and how to stock the kitchen with necessary equipment. Students learn how to prepare a balanced menu.
FIN 378/ACC 378: Financial Planning
Learning proper financial planning can stop you from driving your finances and credit into the ground. This class teaches how to analyze personal finances, plan taxes and save those loose pennies for that future retirement home on the beach.
CRS 325: Presentational Speaking
The ability to speak in front of an audience is a useful skill for most jobs. Learning the basics of how to do this effectively can make public speaking a bit less stressful. This class gives students those skills necessary to come up with speech ideas, organize the information and present it successfully by speaking clearly and having positive body language.
CFS 388: Human Sexuality
The most popular class on RateMyClass.com and by word of mouth, Human Sexuality is packed every semester. This class focuses on sex, sexually transmitted diseases, sexual orientation and relationships. Students who have previously taken the class report that you have the option, for the class project, to attend couples counseling for a large portion of the semester.
