The Final Word: Beat writers discuss Syracuse’s 18-14 win over Rutgers

No. 13 Syracuse started Saturday’s matchup with No. 15 Rutgers down early. After allowing four-straight goals, the Orange fought back, but the Scarlet Knights mustered another four-goal lead. It took until midway through the fourth quarter for Syracuse to get its first lead of the night courtesy of freshman Griffin Cook. Down 13-10 at one point, the Orange went on a 8-1 scoring run to close out the game.
